Prince Charming

Today is my roommate's birthday! HAPPY BIRTHDAY, ROOMMATE--uh, I mean, Chels... because her name isn't actually "roommate". Ha ha? Hoo boy… I am super glad she doesn’t read this blog! (*nervous laughter*)

Anyway, to celebrate Chels's 20th year of life we (meaning Chels, Mack, and myself) went to the Humane Society and spent the entire morning and most of the afternoon walking dogs and playing with kitties! It was super fun and resulted in an OVERLOAD OF CUTENESS. We then got lemon bars from a bakery in town and ate them in a park, singing all the different birthday songs we know as we generally made delicious fools of ourselves.

Day well spent? I’m thinking yes, and we haven’t even gotten to the part where, later tonight, me and Mack are taking Chels out for a night on the town (after Chels’s boyfriend takes her out to a romantic birthday dinner, of course). It’ll be grand. I’ll let you know if I make it home alive.

The point of this post, you ask? Well, since I'm allergic to cats I spent our time at the shelter with the dogs, and I met one in particular that is basically my dream dog. Here’s a picture or two of the handsome fellow below! I doubt I’ll end up getting him since it’s just not the right time of my life to invest in a dog, but still, I plan on going back to the shelter to walk the dogs and visit him again. ^^


And now I shall stop obsessing about the dog of my dreams and go finish that late Future Talk chapter.

    My first reaction when I saw your new blog post:

    OMGEAILLYBCFEILQBLAH DOGGY! Because he is adorable. ^_^ And the day you've had sounds amazing, especially since you seem to be drowning under college papers right now. And in case you were wondering-yes, I stalk your blog now too. And I may or may not stop paying attention to the world when you update? I think I'm going through FT withdrawal.
